Think you can't buy a home because your credit isn't perfect? Think again.

This morning, I thought of a metaphor that perfectly explains the struggle many people face when trying to break into real estate—especially when it's their first time.

Imagine you standing in front of a door with a mechanism-proof lock. On the other side of that door is everything you want—freedom, ownership, stability, success. But you can't open it. Not because you are incompetent, but because you are new to this mechanism and don't understand how the lock works.

That's what buying a home often feels like. The lock is knowledge. The door is opportunity. Without guidance, many people stand right in front of their goals but never reach them because they fail to learn how to operate that mechanism that allows you to open the door.

A Quick Introduction

I'm Eleazar Lua, a full-time real estate agent based in the Coachella Valley, serving Indio, Coachella, Palm Desert, La Quinta, Palm Springs, Cathedral City, and surrounding areas.

But more than that—I'm someone who used real estate to completely change my life.

I was first pre-qualified to purchase a home at 20, chose not to in exchange to pursue my education. I purchased my first home at 24. Since then, I've acquired residential properties, commercial buildings, and vacant land. I've structured deals using FHA loans, SBA, conventional financing, and owner carry options. I've closed complex escrows and consulted for investors who have generated over $40 million in gross bookings through short-term rentals.

Everything I've learned, I now use to help others—no matter where they are in their journey.

What's Really Stopping You?

None of these are necessarily true.

Many of my clients qualify with credit scores in the 580s. You can buy a home with as little as 3.5% down using an FHA loan. And more importantly, you don't have to be 100% “ready” to begin. You just need someone to help you take the next step.
